Stephen Riner & Jonathan Jefferson: October Superintendent’s Superheroes

Mr. Riner & Mr. Jefferson were selected as the Superintendent’s Superheroes for going above and beyond to create an unforgettable learning experience for their 6th-grade students during the Science Adventure School hosted by the WVU Extension Service.

During this incredible four-day adventure at Heritage Farm, Mr. Riner, Mr. Jefferson and their students explored science and math as they camped in tents, studied the local ecosystems, went BMX biking, completed ropes courses, designed and built bows & arrows, and more.  The results in terms of student learning and team building were nothing short of amazing!

We salute Mr. Riner and Mr. Jefferson for their outstanding commitment to our students.
