Career Center's Dale Martin Preparing Students for Future Careers

Gerald "Dale" Martin is being honored as the Superintendent's Superhero for January 2023. Mr. Martin teaches Graphic Design at the Cabell County Career Technology Center. Besides providing professional-level instruction for students in their Simulated Workplace business, Knight Lander Designs, he also inspires and supports them as they pursue their dreams. In her nomination, student Brianna Smith, stated, "I am the SkillsUSA chapter president, I have a job in something he has trained me in. I  was surviving; but now because of him I am living. If I didn't have him as a leader, I wouldn't be where I am today. I know he has made an impact on every student he has ever instructed. He has made a huge impact on my life, he has been a leader, and a father figure. I am forever grateful and this is why he deserves to be a Superintendent's Superhero."
