Principal Jody Sowards named Superhero after Helping Save Student's Life

On November 3, 2022, as 91ӰԺ East Middle School boys basketball students were conditioning for the upcoming basketball season, 8^th grade student Tim Johnson collapsed in the hallway of the school. Because 91ӰԺ East Middle School was conducting a sports banquet for fall athletes that evening, Principal Jody Sowards and many other members of the school’s staff were present. Mr. Sowards administered CPR to Tim nonstop for approximately 15 minutes until emergency responders transported Tim to the hospital, helping to save his life.
