Mrs. Ramey graduated from Marshall University with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Reading Education. She is a certified reading specialist and has additional endorsements of Principal, Supervisor and Superintendent. In 2006, Mrs. Ramey became a National Board Certified Teacher. In her 24 years in education, she has taught elementary, middle school, Title One Reading, served as a county Instructional Coach and most recently spent three years as the Assistant Principal at Milton Elementary.

 

Mrs. Ramey is a product of Cabell County schools. She attended Barboursville Elementary, Jr. High and High School. She is happily married and has one daughter who attends Marshall University. 

 

Having taught at Central City in the past, Mrs. Ramey is excited to return and serve in this capacity. She believes that Central City is a place for students to grow socially, emotionally and academically and she looks forward to working with the students, staff, families and the community.
