Hi and welcome to our school! I have been an educator since 2001, working first as a middle school social studies teacher before moving into administration in 2005. As an administrator, I was an Assistant Principal and Principal at the middle school level for over a decade before becoming an elementary Principal nine years ago. I have had the privilege of serving at several schools in Cabell county: West Middle School, Enslow Middle School, Peyton Elementary, and Explorer Academy.

I have been the Principal of Explorer Academy since our opening for the 2015-2016 school year.

I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, hiking and camping, and am an avid reader.
