Marshall University President, Brad Smith, and his amazing wife Alys made a surprise visit to 91Ó°Ôº High School to announce something incredible. Starting now, any Cabell County School District graduating senior with a GPA of 2.5 or higher will automatically be accepted into Marshall University, no application needed!
President Smith expressed his enthusiasm saying, "We want every single student from Cabell County to join us at Marshall University and help change the world. Be on national TV, go anywhere you want, and show the world who we are! I am proud of this county. I am proud of this city. I am proud of Marshall University, and I hope to see you on campus. Go Cabell County! Go Herd!" 
Cabell County had 514 students from Cabell Midland High School, 91Ó°Ôº High School, and Cabell County Career Technology Center qualify for the MU Cabell Commitment. Let's give a big thanks to President Smith and the entire Marshall University team for this amazing opportunity.
