Crossroads Academy worked with the Cabell County Health Department using the CATCH My Breath vaping prevention curriculum to educate students and help prevent vaping among students.  On day 1, students learned about the harmful chemicals in e-cigarette aerosol.  They later discussed what influences their decisions about tobacco, analyzed Big Tobacco industry and how it targets young people, practiced skills to help them get out of uncomfortable situations and even created a social media compaign to share what they learned with others. Finally, the school received $250 to use toward promotion of other wellness activities within the school.
